Decorating Easter Eggs - Robins Class

The toddlers also spent the morning making beautiful Easter eggs to bring home. They also worked with dye, but used a special spinny contraption that allowed them to watch their egg roll and occasionally bounce around. :)The kids patiently sat with their eyes glued on each other's eggs, super excited to get their own chance to decorate.

Decorating Easter Eggs - Seagulls Class

The Friday before Spring Break was a quiet day in the classrooms, with many of the kids already away on vacation. The students in the Seagulls class spent some time in the morning decorating Easter eggs and little baskets to bring home. First, Lidiya showed the materials to the kids and explained how to create a handle with a hole punch and some chenile wire. The entire class got right to work......and were very proud of their beautiful creations!Next Lidiya introduced the dye and showed the children how to use a very small amount, by rubbing and rolling the egg around the dye inside of a small plastic bag. The children experimented with mixing colors and different amounts of dye.The end results! Gorgeous!
